HELLO

Richard's passion for soccer ignited during middle school when the World Cup was hosted in the United States. He also enjoys watching his son play, both with Sonic and at the high school level. His personal life includes his wife and two children: Presley, 15, a former Sonic player who loves soccer, and Arianna, 12, whose passion is dance.

Coaching Journey

Richard has two years of coaching experience, including both assistant and head coaching roles. He joined Sonic in 2022 and currently holds Grassroots 7v7 and 9v9 licenses. He is actively pursuing further development within these licenses. Richard enjoys the opportunity to develop players while having fun. His coaching philosophy centers on putting players first, focusing on their individual needs and creating a positive learning environment. He aims to instill a passion for the game in his players and emphasizes learning and growth from mistakes.
