My Story
Guillermo's playing experience centers around goalkeeping, and he has enjoyed participating in various teams and tournaments throughout Wisconsin. This experience gives him a unique perspective on the game, which he brings to his coaching.
Coaching Journey
Guillermo has been coaching for around two years and joined Sonic two years ago. He currently holds Grassroots licenses for 4v4, 9v9, and 11v11, and he is actively pursuing further development within the Grassroots 9v9 and 11v11 licenses. He finds immense joy in being around the kids and teaching them the game. His coaching philosophy has evolved during his time with his team, fostering a strong learning environment. He aims to teach self-respect, respect for others, discipline, and respectful play.

"I enjoy being around and getting to know the kids on my team" Guillermo's personal statement highlights his genuine enjoyment of working with young players. He finds his coaching experience particularly rewarding because his son plays on his team, creating a special bond. "Coaching has been amazing specially because my son plays with my team and they all enjoy being around each other."
