My Story
Sean's soccer journey began at age 7 with AYSO, progressing to club soccer with the Dubuque Soccer Club at 10. He was selected for the Illinois State team at 11 and played four years of high school soccer in Iowa, earning first-team All-State honors in 1994. In 1994, he was recruited by the University of Wisconsin as a kicker and punter, demonstrating his athletic versatility.

Coaching Journey
Sean brings 3 years of coaching experience to Sonic Soccer Club, joining in 2023. Sean finds immense joy in watching his players progress. His coaching philosophy emphasizes mutual commitment: "As long as the kids will put in the time and effort and give it their all. I will do the same for them." He aims to teach not only soccer skills but also valuable life skills, focusing on improvement and teamwork.
"Soccer is LIFE for me and my 2 children," he shares, highlighting his deep passion for the sport. Sean's dedication to youth development is evident in his coaching roles. He loves coaching, and especially watching the kids progress in their experience.
